What’s Included

From One-Off Parts to Full Builds

Custom fabrication covers anything that doesn't exist as a standard part — built once, built right, and built to actually fit the application.

Brackets, Mounts & Custom Hardware

One-off and small-batch brackets, mounts, and hardware fabricated to fit equipment, fixtures, or a specific installation — no catalog part required.

Staircases & Platforms

Steel stair stringers, landings, and elevated platforms built to spec for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

One-Off Steel Builds

Custom equipment stands, enclosures, frames, and fixtures for jobs where nothing off-the-shelf fits the application.

Design-to-Fabrication

From a rough sketch or a set of measurements to a finished weldment — we help translate the idea into a buildable spec before any steel is cut.

Prototyping & Small Runs

A single prototype piece or a small production run for a business that needs custom equipment or fixtures without committing to a large-shop minimum order.

Install & On-Site Fit-Up

Delivery and on-site installation or fit-up for fabricated pieces that need to be set, bolted, or welded into place after the shop work is done.

Who Custom Fabrication Is For

If it needs to be built once, built to an exact size, or doesn't exist as an off-the-shelf part, custom fabrication is the right service.

  • A contractor who needs a one-off part or bracket fabricated fast because the job is stalled without it.
  • A homeowner with a custom project — a stair rail, a shelving frame, a piece of yard equipment — that doesn't exist as a standard part.
  • A business that needs custom equipment, fixtures, or a display stand built to an exact size and load requirement.
  • A designer, architect, or GC who needs a fabricator that can work from a concept sketch, not just a finished engineered drawing.

How It Works

Consult, Design, Fabricate, Install

STEP 01

CONSULT

Tell us what you need built, send photos or rough measurements, and we'll talk through the concept and feasibility.

STEP 02

DESIGN & SPEC

We translate the idea into a buildable spec — material, dimensions, load requirements — and give you a clear, itemized quote before fabrication starts.

STEP 03

FABRICATE

Cutting, forming, and welding happen in the fabrication bay, with prototyping or a test fit along the way for anything unusual.

STEP 04

INSTALL OR DELIVER

Finished pieces are delivered ready to install, or we handle on-site installation and fit-up as part of the job.

Pricing & Common Questions

Custom Fabrication FAQ

How much does custom metal fabrication cost?

It depends on the size, material, and complexity of the piece — a single bracket costs far less than a custom staircase or a multi-piece platform build. We quote a firm, itemized price after reviewing your sketch, photos, or spec, so you know the total cost before any steel is cut. No open-ended 'shop rate' billing.

Do I need finished drawings, or can you work from a rough idea?

A rough sketch, a photo of the space, or even a verbal description is enough to start. Part of the design-to-fabrication process is helping turn that concept into a buildable spec — you don't need CAD drawings or engineered plans to get a quote.

Can you build a single prototype, or do you require a minimum order?

Single pieces and prototypes are a normal part of custom fabrication work — there's no minimum order quantity. If a business later needs a small production run of the same part, we can quote that separately once the design is proven out.

What materials can you fabricate with?

Mild steel, structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum are all standard, with MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes applied depending on the material and the finish requirement.

Do you deliver and install, or just fabricate?

Both, depending on the job. Smaller pieces are typically delivered ready to install yourself; larger builds like staircases and platforms are usually delivered and installed or fit up on-site as part of the project.
